Jennie Bristow is a Reader in Sociology at Canterbury Christ Church University. She is the author of several books including The Sociology of Generations and Stop Mugging Grandma. We talked about how our understanding of generations influences how we think about problems in social and political life and whether young people today have been shortchanged in the transfer of generational knowledge.
